South American Beach Tour reaches final stop in Colombia

Colombia hosts last stop in the 2014 South American Beach Tour
Playa Blanca, Colombia, July 18, 2014 - The 2014 South American Beach Tour ends in Colombia after stops in eight venues across the continent. The ninth stage of the Tour will take place from July 18-20 at Playa Blanca on the shores of Lake Tota, in the Colombian department of Boyacá.

Thirty-two teams will compete for medals at the last stop of the South American Beach Tour and attempt to improve their continental rankings. The competition will take place surrounded by beautiful Andean landscapes, pristine waters and the white sands of Playa Blanca's iconic laguna. Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Uruguay and Venezuela will be represented. Ecuador and Peru will only field women's pairs. Hosts Colombia, on the other hand, will have no less than 15 teams involved - seven women's teams and eight men's teams.
