Myanmar teachers adding to volleyball coaching skills

 
A group of teachers in Myanmar having been honing their volleyball coaching skills recently
Yangoon, Myanmar, July 16, 2014 – Myanmar’s teacher’s added to their volleyball coaching skills after the Myanmar Volleyball Federation organised a VCP Teachers Course along with the FIVB from June 23-27 under the tutelage of FIVB instruction Jaksuwan Tcharoen from Thailand.

A total of nine men and 39 women took part of the programme, all from the host country. Myanmar has been active at grass root and youth level and the future aim is to develop competitive national teams. 

Volleyball is a highly respected sport in schools and among communities within the country and that was reflected with 48 teachers participating in the course.

The course was hosted in venues used in the 2013 SEA Games, a legacy that is helping the country develop the sport.
