Puerto Rico welcomes high level volleyball seminar

 
The seminar is being directed by Mr. Gilberto Herrera from Cuba, an experienced instructor in volleyball and coaching.

San Juan, Puerto Rico, June 27, 2014 – An international high level volleyball seminar officially opened in San Juan, Puerto Rico on June 23, coordinated and supervised by the FIVB in conjunction with the Regional Development Volleyball Center in Dominican Republic.

Financial support for the participants and instructors is being provided by El Paso, the Puerto Rico Olympic Committee and the FIVB and the NORCECA Confederation.

Also in attendance is Mr. Antonio Rizola from Brazil, currently the technical director of the Brazil National Program and globally recognised for his participation in championships at all levels.

In all there are 40 participants from 29 different countries taking part in the course, which will cover topics such as the regional development of volleyball and players as well as different techniques used in high level volleyball.
