Regional participants benefit from technical seminar in Bahrain

 
The course which began on April 6 will come to a close on April 10

Manama, Bahrain, April 7, 2014 – A total of 21 candidates from Bahrain, Jordan, Yeman, Egypt and Lebanon are currently taking part in a technical seminar in Manama under the leadership of Course Director Mr Adachi from Japan.  

Participants were welcomed by the president of the Bahrain Volleyball Association, H.R.H Sheikh Ali Alkhalifa during the opening ceremony, which was also attached by Mr. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Thawadi, Director of the FIVB Volleyball Centre in Bahrain and Mr. Adachi.

The FIVB Technical Seminars programme is intended for technicians (with experience as Volleyball players and/or coaches) looking to improve their knowledge and competences of the different Volleyball techniques.

These seminars usually feature world-renowned Volleyball coaches and instructors and associate players for practical demonstrations.

The five day course will also see the participation of coach of the Bahrain national team, Mr.Yousof Khalifa and coach of Bahrain Beach Volleyball, Mr. Ali Jaffer as well as two female physical education teachers.
