Bahrain's teachers benefit from Technical Seminar course

The course, led by Director Mr. Mohammed A. Al-Thawadi, was organised to a very high standard.

Manama, Bahrain, March 19, 2014 – A men’s only Technical Seminar for Teachers was held at the Bahrain Volleyball Development Center from March 9 to 13. A total of 23 men hailing from Bahrain and Egypt took part in the five day seminar.

The course was held at the Development Centre in Bahrain, a well-equipped facility located in world class premises.

The Bahrain Volleyball Association will host the 17th Asia Men’s U20 Volleyball Championship in October 2014. Recognising that Bahrain’s schools could benefit from such an exceptional opportunity, the organisers have invited teachers and the students to be part of the event as volunteers.

The FIVB Technical Seminars programme is intended for technicians (with experience as volleyball players and/or coaches) looking to improve their knowledge and competencies in different volleyball techniques.

These seminars usually feature world-renowned volleyball coaches and instructors and associate players for practical demonstrations.
