Crven Zvezda claim 17th Serbia Cup triumph

 
Crvena Zvedza won a five-set thriller to win their third Serbia Cup
Belgrade, Serbia, February 18, 2014 - Crven Zvezda claimed their 17th triumph in the Serbia Cup when they edged a five-set thriller against Partizan Vizuira 3-2 (21-25, 25-22, 25-13, 17-25, 15-13).

Zvezda opposite Adela Helic was named MVP and Zvezda captain Julia Milovits lifted the Cup following a match that lasted 124 minutes and kept the 1,200 spectators enthralled from start to finish.

In the semifinals Zvezda defeated Tent Obrenova 3-1 (25-20, 25-23, 24-26, 25-20), while Vizura and recorded a similar result against Jedinstvo Stara Pazova to progress with a 3-1 (30-28, 25-17, 18-25, 25-21) win.
