Volleyball talent training camps to begin in February in Argentina

 
Argentina's girls are hoping to better their performance at last year's Youth South American Championship which saw them win silver after Brazil

Buenos Aires, Argentina, January 29, 2014 – Four volleyball training camps are set to begin in different parts of Argentina in February to begin training promising young female athletes for the South American Championship in July.

Coach Mauro Silvestre and his assistant coaches, Eduardo Rodriguez and Martin Vera will run the programme. The first two Volleyball Talent Identification Training Camps will take place from February 5 to 8 at the Club Union San Guillermo (Santa Fe Province) while the second will take place from February 19 to 22 at the ASEBA facilities in the city of San Luis.

The next two camps are scheduled for March - the first at the Club Once Unidos in Mar del Plata city from March 13 to 16 and the second from March 27 to 30 in either the Santa Fe or Entre Rios provinces.

At the 2013 Youth Girls’ South American Championship in the Colombian city of Popayan, Argentina won a historical silver medal after a demanding match against current title holders, Brazil.
