Australian Junior Women prepare for FIVB U-19 World Champs, Youth Olympics

 
The athletes in the squad wore the uniform top of the school or club where they began, to recognize where they started their volleyball journey.

Canberra, Australia, November 20, 2013 – Australia Volleyball Federation has recruited a 28 youth players for training camps in the Australian Junior Women’s selection squad for next year’s international competitions.

In preparation for next year’s intensive competitions - especially for the FIVB Volleyball Under 19 World Championships and Youth Olympics- the Australian Junior Women’s squad is training and competing in the Good Neighbour tournament at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra from Nov. 18 to 24.

This activity is the final training camp/competition in preparation for a busy 2014 which includes;

·          Asian Under 21 Championships in Thailand

·          Asian Junior Volleyball Championships in Chinese Taipei

·          Under 19 World Championships, Europe

·          Youth Olympics, in China
