Doha Coaches Course ends with success

All 29 participants passed the practical and theoretical exam
Doha, Qatar, November 16, 2013 – A FIVB Level I Coaches Course wrapped up in Doha on Wednesday, with 30 participants from 13 countries learning valuable volleyball skills and theories.

Many of the participants began the course with a high skill set, as most of them are current or ex-national team players. Six of the participants came from Morocco, four from Egypt, three from Palestine, two from Algeria, two from Syria, two from Tunisia, two from Yemen, two from Sudan, two from Somalia, one from Saudi Arabia, one from Iran, one from China and one from Jordan.

The participants showed a high standard of respect, with enthusiasm and dedication throughout the course.

All 29 participants who took the practical and theoretical exam passed.

The Qatar Volleyball Association is an active participant in these courses, with the aims to better the future of volleyball in the country.

The course was supported by the FIVB, with help from the Qatar Volleyball Association and local organizing president Ali El Kuwari.

The course ran from Nov. 2 to 13, with one rest day.
