Bujumbura, Burundi, November 12, 2013 – The African Volleyball Confederation (CAVB) national coaches course came to a successful conclusion, attracting 34 coaches from different provinces in the country.

The course was held in collaboration with the Burundi Volleyball Federation in line with its Development Strategy and took place from November 3 to 8 at the Institute of Physical Education in Bujumbura, Burundi.

Led by FIVB Instructor Mayam Blaise from Cameroon, most of the participants were physical education teachers and students looking to improve their volleyball knowledge in order to further the sport in the country.

"I'm happy with the performance of all the participants," Blaise said at the end of the course sessions.

"All of them have strong ability as future coaches. If they use the experience of this course, they can dramatically improve the volleyball level in Burundi."
