“Wiener Städtische Super League” to continue for eighth year in a row

 
The main goal of this cooperation is to "provide the best possible conditions for our players to develop their game and we will continue to do so in the future for the benefit of volleyball in Serbia," Svetlana Smiljanic said

Belgrade, Serbia, October 4, 2013 - The “VIG Plaza” office building, the headquarters of the “Wiener Städtische” insurance company in Serbia’s capital city, hosted on Thursday the press conference celebrating the signing of yet another agreement of cooperation between the “Wiener Städtische” company, the Volleyball Federation of Serbia and the Association of First Division Volleyball Clubs.

The Serbian Volleyball league will be named “Wiener Städtische Super League” for the eighth year in a row. The cooperation agreement was signed by Mrs. Svetlana Smiljanic, member of the Executive Board of the “Wiener Städtische” insurance company, Mr. Aleksandar Bori?i?, President of the Volleyball Federation of Serbia, and Mr. Goran Cato, Chairman of the Executive Board in the Association of First Division Volleyball Clubs.  

“In this season we can expect a further improvement of the wonderful cooperation that we nurtured up to this moment. I hope that we will see some very exciting matches and enjoy the unique emotions that derive from high-level Volleyball matches. The main goal of this cooperation is to provide the best possible conditions for our players to develop their game and we will continue to do so in the future for the benefit of Volleyball in Serbia”, said Mrs. Svetlana Smiljanic.  

In addition to the representatives of the “Wiener Städtische” insurance company, the press conference was attended also by Mr. Slobodan Milosevic, General Secretary of the Volleyball Federation of Serbia, Mr. Nenad Golijanin, First Vice-President, and Mr. Zoran Avramovic, Marketing Director.  

In the end, a premiere of the TV show which will be broadcast once a week bringing the latest info on the “Wiener Städtische Super League” was showed to the audience. The TV show will be produced jointly by the Serbian National Broadcaster (RTS) and the “Sport Network” company.
