Anti-doping education outreach programme gains momentum at U21 Championship
Lausanne, Switzerland, September 13, 2013 – The International Volleyball
Federation (FIVB) in collaboration with the FIVB Heroes project and the World
Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) conducted an anti-doping outreach programme at the FIVB Mens’ Under 21 World Championship in Izmir and Ankara in Turkey.
Participation in the programme was open to
volleyball players, members of their medical and
technical staff, team managers and coaches. Over the two days, in Izmir and Ankara, two doctors from the Turkish
National Anti-doping Organisation were on hand to answer questions.
