Former AVC Vice-President Chansiri recognised in Thailand

 
Mr Jizhong Wei (FIVB and AVC Life Honorary President and president of the Control Committee of the Championship) presents the plaque to Mr. Chansiri

Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand, September 12, 2013 – Mr Kraisorn Chansiri has received an award at a ceremony held prior to the start of the 17th Asian Senior Women's Volleyball Championship.

The award was presented by Mr Jizhong Wei (FIVB and AVC Life Honorary President and president of the Control Committee of the Championship) at the Sima Thani Hotel.

Mr Kraisorn,78, has devoted his life to the development of Thai sports and volleyball in particular. Chairman of the Thai Union of the world's second-largest tuna canner business, Mr Kraisorn was former Vice President of the AVC and the Thailand Volleyball Association.

The 17th Asian Senior Women's Volleyball Championship will take place from September 13 to 21 in Nakhon Ratchasima and will include 16 participating teams.
