2014 World Championship qualifiers kick off in Mozambique

 
The Mozambique women's team aim to qualify for the next zonal phase of the 2014 World Championship qualifiers

Maputo, Mozambique, July 3, 2013 - The road to the prestigious 2014 FIVB World Championship starts in the Mozambique capital of Maputo on Wednesday when the Group J men and women tournaments get underway in the subzonal phase of the qualifier.
 
Both the men’s and women’s tournaments comprise four teams playing in a round robin format to determine the qualifier to the second zonal stage phase of the competition. Host Mozambique as well as Lesotho, Botswana and Swaziland will be taking part in both genders.

The top three teams in each gender will proceed to the next phase to be held next October.

July 3: Botswana v Swaziland
            Lesotho v Mozambique
July 4: Swaziland v Mozambique
            Botswana v Lesotho
July 5: Lesotho v Swaziland
            Mozambique v Botswana
