Brazil faces France to remain unbeaten
São Paulo, Brazil, June 28, 2013 – After winning its first match at home this Friday, Brazil will face France again on Saturday at 10:10 (local time) in São Paulo´s Ibirapuera gymnasium. The Brazilians will fight to continue their unbeaten run in the 2013 FIVB World League.
Brazilian head coach Bernardo Rezende talked about Friday game against France when Brazil won 3-2.
“There is happening a moment during our games that cannot happen tomorrow”, Bernardo Rezende said. “We cannot have a two, three points lead, and later be behind the score. We have to work to not be in this situation again.”
The setter William Arjona had a good performance Friday against France, and called attention to the quality of the teams in the FIVB World League.
“FIVB World League is a complicated championship,” William said. “All teams are really good and when we decreased our serve today France improved a lot. Playing with the lead, the things worked well. For tomorrow a strong serve during all the game.”
Brazil are in the top of pool A with five wins, and France lie fourth with two wins and five losses.
