Flooding results in venue change for Serbia, Germany

Serbia will host Germany in the City of Belgrade, in Pionir Hall of Sports
Lausanne, Switzerland, June 26, 2013 – The matches of the fourth weekend in the 2013 FIVB World League Pool B between Serbia and Germany will be played on Saturday and Sunday, June 29 and 30, in “Pionir” Hall of Sports in Belgrade.

The previously designated venue, “Cair” Hall of Sports in the City of Niš, is out of service due to the heavy flood that struck southern parts of Serbia.

The Organizers from the City of Nis and the Volleyball Federation of Serbia looked up at the condition of the facilities and concluded that it is impossible to organize matches in this stadium.

Therefore, Serbia will host Germany in the City of Belgrade, in Pionir Hall of Sports  on June 29 and 30, from 20:00 CET (live broadcast will be available on the Serbia`s Public Broadcastig Service – RTS2).
