Sri Lanka hosts VCP Beach Volleyball Course

 
Sri Lanka has been working hard on beach volleyball development in recent years with support from the federation.

Sri Lanka, June 10, 2013 -  A VCP Beach Volleyball course was carried out in Sri Lanka from June 10 to14, giving volleyball players and coaches from all over the country the chance to learn new skills and rules.

Thirty-one participants were involved in the course, which was run by FIVB Instructor Mr Yaniv Noyman, who has extensive experience in running beach volleyball programs.

The players and coaches were given theoretical instruction about the latest addition to the Rules of the Game and other technical aspects of the game.

The course was organised by the Federation’s General Secretary, Mr Susil Ranasinghe in collaboration with the FIVB.

Sri Lanka has been working hard on beach volleyball development in recent years with support from the federation.

This course is designed for National Federations, or simply beach volleyball enthusiasts willing to develop further beach volleyball in their respective countries. The course provides an insight into the world of beach volleyball and teaches fundamental issues like how to create and to organise beach volleyball competitions. The course also covers the latest rules and regulations and provides information on the necessary structures for beach volleyball.
