Beach Volleyball International Referee Candidate Course, Khartoum

 

Khartoum, Sudan, June 7, 2013 – The Development Centre in Khartoum is currently holding a Beach Volleyball International Referee Candidate Course. The course which began on June 5 will continue through to June 11.

The 18 participants (from nine national federations) taking part in the course, come from the following 11 countries – Uganda, Libya, Gabon, Congo Brazzaville, Ghana, Sudan, Rwanda, Zimbabwe, Palestine, Chad, Sierra Leone.

The FIVB refereeing courses are in place to keep referees' knowledge and competence of volleyball and beach volleyball rules in line with current trends in the sport.

International Referee Candidate courses and Continental events, as well as refresher courses are held throughout the year. The goal of FIVB is to encourage the development of refereeing skills all over the world.
