The long and the short of the 2013 World League

 
In addition to his World League accolades, Muserskiy has also competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics, where Russia got to the final and won against Brazil. He won 31 points in that match and was Russia's best player.
Russia, Kaliningrad, June 7, 2013 – Volleyball fans will have the opportunity to see the tallest and the shortest players of the World League compete against each other, then Russia takes on Iran in their home Pool B match in Kaliningrad today.  
 
At 2.18 metres in height, Russia’s Dmitriy Muserskiy is the tallest player in the World League this year while Farhad Zarif, at 1.65 metres, is the shortest player.

The 25 year-old Muserskiy has 72 national plays for Russia while Iran’s libero Farhad Zarif (born 1983) has190 national plays.

Russia and Iran will open the Pool B matches of the International Continental round today at 18:00 (local time) at the SK Yantamy Hall in Kaliningrad.
