Technical Seminar for teachers continues in Bahrain

Participants of the Teachers Technical Seminar in Bahrain
Lausanne, Switzerland, April 08, 2013 – A total of twenty-five female teachers participated in a Technical Seminar course held in the Kingdom of Bahrain from April 1 to 5. The course was opened in the presence of the chairman of Bahrain’s Volleyball Association, Sheikh Ali bin Mohammed Al Khalifa. The second part of the seminar, which had 26 male participants, began April 7 and continues until April 15.

The course was designed to improve local teachers' qualifications with the aim of developing volleyball in Bahrain.

Sheik Ali conveyed his satisfaction with the organisation of first part of the seminar and thanked the Ministry of Education for their cooperation with the FIVB and Bahrain's FIVB Development Centre in delivering such an important project.

The Course Director, Yousif Al-Hilbawi added that it was one of the most successful seminars that have been conducted for the teachers in Bahrain.

Mr Al-Hilbawi also praised the technical and logistical facilities provided by Bahrain’s Volleyball Association’s Executive Director, Mr Ahmed Yousif and coordinator, Mr Khalid Abdullah.
