Twelve-day coaches course comes to an end in India

 Lausanne, Switzerland, March 26, 2013 – A 12-day FIVB Level-I Coaches Course ended on Tuesday with a concluding function at Padmashri Dr. B. Sivanthi Adityan Auditorium, FIVB Development Centre, in Chennai.

Thirty-one of the 35 candidates (23 men, 12 women) successfully completed the prestigious international coaches course.

The candidates came from India, Turkmenistan, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey and Croatia, while the instructors were Tatsuya Adachi from Japan and Kurt Radde from Germany.

Mr. K. Rajaraman, member secretary of the Sports Development Authority of Tamilnadu, presented the attestations to the participants. 

Four special awards were also presented:

Most Valuable Coach – Mr. Kiran Pal Rana (India)
Best in Theory – Mr. VJ Varghese (India)
Best in Practical – Ms. Priyanka Bora (India)
Best in Both Practical and Theory – Mr. Ajay Jangra (India).

Volleyball Federation of India Secretary General Mr. K. Murugan and national coach Mr. G.E. Sridharan also attended the event.
