Cairo, Egypt, March 15, 2013 - The African Volleyball
Confederation (CAVB) has decided to postpone the 2013 Men's African Club
Championship for two weeks due to a record number of 30 clubs who have
registered to participate.
The CAVB officially communicated that the competition
will be held from April 19 to 27 (instead of April 3 to 11, 2013 as originally
planned) to ensure that the event is well organised and meets all the technical
requirements.
The CAVB has asked the Libya Volleyball
Federation to arrange for two more halls, in addition to the two already in
place, to host the increased number of matches.
Zamalek of Egypt are the defending men's champions having won last year's title
in Tunisia.
