FIVB Level 1 Coaches Course in India

The international course will see the participation of 35 individuals (including 12 women) from Croatia, Turkey, Turkmenistan, UAE and India.
Chennai, India, March 12, 2013 - The FIVB Level I Coaches Course began today at the FIVB Development Centre in Chennai, India. The course will be led by course director, Mr Tatsuya Adachi from Japan and instructor, Mr Kurt Radde from Germany.
Mrs Mary Rajathi, General Manager of the Sports Development Authority of Tamilnadu opened the course while Mr Ramana Rao, Director of the Centre welcomed the gathering. Mr K. Murugan, Secretary General of the Volleyball Federation of India introduced the FIVB Instructors to the participants. Mr Adachi then provided participants with a brief presentation on the course.

Other members of the Volleyball Federation of India who were present at the opening ceremony included Ms A.D.Mohanraj, Ms A.K.Chitrapandian, Mr M.D. Jinna and Mr Tamilselvam.
Both the theory and practical sessions will be held in the Dr. J.Jayalalitha Indoor Stadium in Kilpauk, Chennai.

The theory and practical examination will be held on March 22 and 23 and the final presentation ceremony will take place on the evening of March 23.
