Crvena Zvezda win 11th Serbian National Cup title

Belgrade, Serbia, 25 February – Crvena Zvezda’s men’s team emulated their female counterparts by winning this season's Serbian National Cup.
The Belgrade team won the title for the 11th time with a 3-1 (25-22, 18-25, 25-22, 27-25) win over Radnicki from Kragujevac after 113 minutes play at the Pendik Sports Arena in Novi Pazar.
Just under 1000 fans watched the match that was officiated by international referees Dragutin Cuk and Vladimir Simonovic.
After the match Mr. Predrag Perunicic, State Secretary for Sports, presented the Cup to the Crvena Zvezda captain Mihajlo Mitic, while Lord Mayor of Novi Pazar Dr Meho Mahmutovic, awarded Radnicki captain Milan Ilic with the runners-up trophy.
Crvena Zvezda president Mr. Zoran Manasijevic and Mr. Jakup Zatric, the Novi Pazar volleyball delegate gave out the medals to the winning players, while Mr. Zoran Avramovic, from the Serbia Volleyball Federation and Mr. Aleksandar Bicanin of the Association of First Division Volleyball Clubs, handed out the silver medals to the Radnicki players.
Mr. Dejan Jovanovic, president of the Volleyball Referees Association, awarded the match officials with honorary medals.
Earlier in the month Crvena Zvezda’s women’s team beat Vizura Vol Art 3-1 (26-28, 25-19, 25-23, 25-23) to win the Cup for the 16th time.
