Coaches’ refresher course held in Somalia

The course offered trained coaches a chance to upgrade their skills | Mogadishu, Somalia, December 14, 2012 – The Somali Volleyball Federation finished a two-day local coaching course in the capital, Mogadishu, this past weekend. The aim of the course was to improve the technical and practical knowledge of volleyball coaches in the east African country.
At the closing ceremony, first general secretary of the Somalia Volleyball Federation Mahamed Abubakar thanked all the course participants and praised the Coaches. He encouraged them to make good use of what they learned in the course and to continue their practice well into future.
“I would like to see Somali volleyball players participating in Zone 5 qualifications," said the secretary.
At the end of the ceremony, vice-president of the Somali Volleyball Federation, Mahamed Ibrahim, also gave his best wishes and encouragement to the couches in all their endeavours.
