Guam VCP course attracts strong media interest

Gozansky's local media exposure included a radio interview on Wednesday
Hagåtña, Guam, November 29, 2012 – Local media are providing extensive coverage of the first ever VCP course held in Guam, with print, radio and TV all taking the opportunity to interview well-known American coach and FIVB instructor Sue Gozansky, who is directing the course for elementary, middle and high school teachers.

KUAM News was among the media drawing attention to the course and the story they ran can be viewed
here (starts at 1 minute, 50 seconds).

Bringing Gozansky to the island was quite a coup for Guam volleyball. The course participants benefit from her authoritative knowledge of modern teaching and training techniques, and of how to develop talent at a young age. This is an opportunity many have been waiting for, and the public was invited to observe evening sessions with the 26 local physical education teachers.

Gozansky has helmed the University of California-Riverside volleyball programme for the past 37 seasons, the second longest tenure of any coach at the NCAA Division I level, and has written two books on volleyball.
