Top teams pull away in African Zone 7 Club Championships

A total of 19 teams from six countries are competing for the title | Antananarivo, Madagascar, November 23, 2012 – Three teams remain undefeated in the double-gender Zone 7 Club Championships underway in Madagascar.
In the men’s division, Tampon Geko Volley top Pool A after four unanswered wins while Faucon Flacq–Camp Ithier lead Pool B with five straight wins. In the women’s division, St. Denis Olympique have yet to drop a set after three games and hold first place in Pool D. Pool C is headed by Stef Auto, who have the same 2-1 record as second-place VC Côte Ouest but are ahead due to a better set ratio.
After further classification matches on Friday, the teams will begin semi-final play to decide who will contest the gold and bronze medal finals on Saturday.
