Istanbul 2020 Olympic bid visits FIVB

 
The Istanbul 2020 delegation briefed the FIVB President on their volleyball and beach volleyball proposals
Lausanne, Switzerland, November 9, 2012 - A delegation from the Istanbul 2020 Olympic bid was in Lausanne today to meet with FIVB President Dr. Ary Graça Fo to present their plans for infrastructure and venues if Istanbul succeeds in becoming an Olympic host city.

The Istanbul delegation included general manager Alp Berker, sport advisor Anita Palm and Games planning advisor Adrian Avis. They gave President Graça
Fo a full briefing on how they see volleyball and beach volleyball fitting into their bid, what venues would be used and what infrastructure would be in place for them.
