Olympiacos and Ethnikos Alexanroupolis lead Greek league

Vinicius Raguzzoni's 19 points weren't enough to lead Panathinaikos past Finikas Syrou, as the Athenian team lost 3-1
Athens, Greece, October 30, 2012 – Olympiacos Piraeus, Ethnikos Alexandroupolis, PAOK and Finikas Syros each celebrated their second win in the Volleyleague OPAP 2012-2013, while Panathinaikos Athens and Iraklis Thessaloniki remain winless.

In the opening match of the second round, the Bulgarian Bojan Jordanov, who was named the MVP of that round, scored 29 points and led Olympiacos to a speedy 3-0 win over Pamvohaikos Vrahati.

Ethnikos Alexandroupolis came from behind to win in four sets against Aris Thessaloniki in another sensational match by the Thrace team. In the fourth set Aris was leading 20-16, but Ethnikos cut the difference to one point (20-21) and finally Croatian player Ivan Raic scored the last point of the match to end the set 30-28.

PAOK Thessaloniki needed five sets to finally edge GS Lamia, and Foinikas Syrou cruised to a 3-1 win over Panathinaikos Athens.

Defending champions Iraklis Thessaloniki remained winless after their home loss against Niki Aiginiou, a team that was promoted to first division last summer. Andrei Kravarik is still looking for his first win as coach of Iraklis, while his team remains in the bottom of the table.

AO Kifisias evened their win-loss record to 1-1, following a 3-0 win over AONS Milon.
