NORCECA educates members on FIVB events

The most recent FIVB World Championships first round event in Suriname also feature the NORCECA course on FIVB regulations

Paramaribo, Suriname, September 1, 2012 – The NORCECA Confederation is taking advantage of the FIVB World Championships first round tournaments being staged within its confederation to host a one-day clinic on the FIVB regulations for all participating federations.

The clinic has been run in conjunction with each of the NORCECA events in order to explain how to organise FIVB events, standard procedure and operational requirements as per the FIVB regulations.

“This teaching process is most important in order for our national federations Category I & II to learn and implement the procedure and protocol of volleyball matches,” NORCECA president and FIVB 1st executive vice-president Cristobal Marte said. “This is one of the legacies that NORCECA leaves behind after each event.”
