Tin Hiupic and Gerard Fischer will be competing at their first FIVB tournament together
Windhoek, Namibia, July 10, 2012 - Namibian duo Tin Hiupic and Gerard Fischer departed for the FIVB Beach Volleyball Youth World Championships on Sunday as the pair get ready to become the first team to represent their country at the tournament.

The 2012 SWATCH Youth World Championships will feature some of the world’s top players under 19 and will begin on Wednesday in Larnaka, Cyprus.

“This is a great opportunity for the pair to gain very important international experience, which will be critical in their further development as players,” Namibian Volleyball Federation president Heiko Diehl said.
