Togo welcomes future stars for Beach Volleyball Junior World Champs qualifier

Lome, Togo, June 28, 2012 - Togo welcomed 11 countries across both genders ahead of the first ever African Beach Volleyball Junior Cup for men and women due to start at Lome Beach on Friday.

The 11 countries - Togo, South Africa, Guinea Conakry, Ghana, Cote d’Ivoire, Rwanda, Burundi, Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Gabon and Zimbabwe - come from zonal qualifications that were held early in April and May. 

The top six teams in both men and women competitions will qualify to the FIVB SWATCH Junior World Championships to be held in Halifax, Canada from August 29 to September 2.
