The Second Victory of Chinese Taipei
The match between Chinese Taipei and Kenya was delayed 35 minutes due to electricity problems in the playing hall. In the first two sets Chinese Taipei did not had problems with the team from Kenya. In the third set, the problems began, and Chinese Taipei finally won by 30:28.

Croatia Without Their First Setter
A hosting team Croatia won their second match in the pool A against Spain even though they played without their first setter. She brought a wrong jersey and was unable to play, so that brought the team psychological handicap from the beginning of the match. In the third set Spanish team started serving well and they overcame the fear and gave us a lot of trouble, said Croatian head coach Pero Bozic. Spanish head coach, Berdegue Manuel, commented: Tommorow is our decisive match against Kenya to stay in play-offs, and we must start playing from the beginning!

A Hosting Team Defeated
Our team got scared and we lost our confidence, said Croatian captain sanja Popovic, while Croatian head coach Pero Bozic thinks that his team lost due to their inexperience: We have very young and talented girls with no experience. Yu Chao Cheng, opponent's head coach was very happy: It was a nice match. the girls were working very good as a team and I think that this was the main reason we won.
