Brazilian players of Sada Cruzeiro trounced Tigres de Nuevo Leon

Samuel Cordova, captain of Tigres de Nuevo Leon: “They established a very smart and strong service game and we were not able to receive as we wanted. Our offense couldn’t work because of that. Their serves were the key for the victory.”

William Arjona, captain of Sada Cruzeiro: “It was a good game for us and also a good start with a 3-0 victory. Our team was well focused and we were able to keep the consistency of our serves throughout the whole match.”

Jorge Azair, coach of Tigres de Nuevo Leon: “Sada Cruzeiro is a great team and I think will be one of the top contenders for the title here. As my captain said, their serves were so strong and well located. On the other hand we didn’t serve the way we wanted against a taller team like Sada Cruzeiro.”

Marcelo Mendez, coach of Sada Cruzeiro: “I am very happy for the victory. The first matches of a tournament are always difficult and we played very well. I think that we are going to improve as the competition goes on.”
