MATCH INFO

Sollys Nestle set very high goals

Brazilian star Sheilla Castro contributed heavilyto the victory over Rabita Baku

Mira Golubovic, captain of Rabita Baku: “We are very sad for the loss of this game. After playing an excellent first set, the experience of the Brazilian team allowed them to make the decision. We will be focusing on the next very important match in order to win it and qualify for the semi-finals and who knows, maybe we will face Sollys Nestle in the final of this big tournament.”

Jaqueline Carvalho, captain of Sollys Nestle: “We came here with the firm intention to win all our games. We know that there are strong teams in this event. We will prepare in the best way for the semi-finals and we are excited to play the final and win against any team.”

Marcello Abbondanza, coach of Rabita Baku: “We knew that today’s match was going to be very tough. We tried to surprise our opponents from the beginning and managed to do so in the first set. But many of our players (six of them) are very young and don’t have the same experience of the Brazilian players. We will try to correct the mistakes we made in the three sets that we lost and concentrate on the last match to secure our place in the semi-finals.”

Luizomar de Moura, coach of Sollys Nestle: “I am happy with this second win in the tournament. We still have a lot to do to avoid the mistakes we made in the first set. The semi-final will be a very difficult game, but we will do everything possible to win the title that we came for.”
