Al-Jamaani, captain of Al-Arabi: “I’m happy for the victory as it will motivate us for the next match against a very strong team, which is the Polish team, but our coach knows how to deal with each match. I hope we make it to play the semifinals.”
Ashraf Abouelhassan captain of Zamalek: “I'm feeling sad because we are out of the competition. We lost the match because of many mistakes and lack of concentration, but I am satisfied for being here playing in such high level competition.”
Mohamed Ellakany, coach of Zamalek: “I am really upset because of the team performance and the result. We were looking forward to be at the semifinals but unfortunately that won’t happen. We had some injured players that we didn't have them in this match but it was a great experience for my players to face some of the best players in the world.”
Mauro Grasso, coach of Al-Arabi: “For us it was a great result, with the small time we had to practice with all the players. We see the difference now and the mistakes we have done yesterday we haven't done today. We can try our chances to win next matches. We hope to be able to play tactical as we did today, the players are playing well and we hope to win against the Polish Team.
