The FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship returned for the first time since 1994 last year as Turkey's Fenerbahce saw off Brazil's Sollys Osasco in the final to win the tournament on their first try. Italy's Bergamo recovered from a semifinal loss to pick up the bronze medal, beating the Dominican Republic's Mirador.
