We started our training sessions 10 days ago and it isn’t enough for any time to prepare itself for such a strong competition.
Paykan Tehran Captain Bakhsheshi Hesam: It was great to play against one of the best teams in the world. We gain a lot of experience when we play against such big team as the Russian team. In today’s match both of the teams wanted to win this match, the Russian team deserved this victory.
Zenit Kazan Coach Valimir Alenko: I am happy for the result and the performance of some of my players. At some moments of the match, my players didn’t concentrate due to the provocation of the Iranian players.
Zenit Kazan Captain Alexander Volkov: I am disappointed with our performance, but happy with the result.
