Federbrau coach targets World Championship return

Fofao and Eda Erdem try to stop a Federbrau attack in the last game of the pool stage of the women's competition

Fenerbahce coach Ze Roberto:
"I opted for some substitutions in the third set as our players who are normally not included in the starting six need to get rhythm, also for the next games that will be more difficult. It is not that easy to play the Thai teams, because we are not used to their style but this was nevertheless a good chance to get into the right rhythm before a tough semifinal. We'll play the Dominicans (Mirador), a team I know very well, their coach is also Brazilian (Marcos Kwiek) and he is very good, so we’ll have to prepare for this game very carefully."

Fenerbahce captain Natasa Osmokrovic:
"Congratulations to the Thai girls because they played well and they really put up some real resistance, so that finally it was not an easy game for us."

Federbrau coach Kiattipong Radtchatagriengkai:
"I would like to thank the FIVB and the local organisers for this event, since this is our last game here. The participation in the Club World Championships is a good stimulus for us to get valuable experience and the necessary motivation to go back, work hard and come back next year even stronger and more prepared. We'll fight for another Asian crown to qualify once again for the Club World Champs. Congratulations to Fenerbahce and good luck for their next games."

Federbrau captain Wilavan Aginyapong:
"Congratulations to Fenerbahce, it was a real honour for us to play against such a great team with incredible players from all over the world. We played at our best and I am happy that we were always fighting for every ball."
