Trentino BetClic coach Radostin Stoytchev:
"We played very well in the first couple of sets, the players were really focused and motivated, then we went through a loss of concentration in the last few rallies of the third set, they stamped two aces and we missed the next side-out so the match there turned into a more difficult task. We always prepare very carefully for every single game here as we do not underestimate any opponent and I would like to congratulate the Argentinian team because they played a great game. For the next and last match of the prelims (against Paul Mitchell), if there is the chance, I will rest some of my players and take this opportunity to test some new tactics but even though we are already qualified for the next stage of the competition, we always go for the win and it will be the same also on Sunday."
Trentino BetClic captain Matey Kaziyski:
"We are happy with this victory, especially since it was not that easy. We served very well, putting a lot of pressure on their reception, and this worked very well in the first couple of sets. We were not focused enough in the final rush of the third set but overall our performance was good."
Drean Bolivar coach Javier Weber:
"I would divide the match into two sections. At first we found it difficult to get into the game and find the right rhythm because in our national league we are not used to playing against such strong opponents. Then we played at our best and I am really satisfied with this. If we maintain that same level for a couple of hours, and not just for two sets, I think we can have a chance to get a victory against Dynamo (Moscow) on Sunday."
Drean Bolivar captain Gabriel Arroyo:
"There was only a small difference in set three and four. We served well but they did so as well and from time to time our reception was not too solid. Generally, we can be happy because we have been playing well staying close to the best team in the world."
