Stoytchev surprised by scale of Trentino victory

Trentino's triple block of Riad, Matey Kaziyski and Jan Stokr combine to close the way for Peter Veres

Trentino BetClic coach Radostin Stoytchev:
"I did not expect to win 3-0 especially because we have a big respect for our opponent. We made some mistakes and did not successfully complete our counterattacks, so we'll have to work on this. We have been plagued by injuries and could not train properly in the past few weeks, but we are here to defend our title."

Trentino BetClic captain Matey Kaziyski:
"I am very happy with this win, it was a good game but not the perfect one. We know that every team here are very strong so we'll take it game by game. This morning Paykan from Iran caused many problems for another European team, Belchatow, and so we'll take it very seriously in the next games."

Dynamo Moscow coach Yury Cherednik:
"To me it is not the 3-0 that counts but the fact that we made many mistakes in the key moments of the game. That made the difference and had a huge impact on the final result. On the other hand, I hope we will play Trentino again in the final and it will be a different game."

Dynamo Moscow captain Sergey Grankin:
"There is not much to say, they were simply stronger tonight."
