Al Arabi skipper grateful for home help

The Qatari fans were the seventh man on the court for host outfit Al Arabi Doha

Al Ahly coach Ibrahim Fakhreldin:
"My players are very disappointed after losing this game. We will try to concentrate a bit more on our team work and adjust our tactics for the next games."

Al Ahly captain Mahmoud Abd El Kader:
"Our team is a mixture of experienced players and some others that were recently added to the roster. We are still missing the right mix and we need some time to find the right adjustments to this situation. We’ll have to work a lot to get rid of these problems even though this tournament is very short."

Al Arabi Doha coach Adel Mohmed:
"I am very happy with this win and I hope we'll continue this way also in the next games. We had a fantastic crowd tonight and we are very much looking forward to our next matches."

Al Arabi Doha captain Said Al-Jumani:
"My best regards to the many fans that supported us tonight. Since most of them were not Qataris, but residents in this emirate that was an additional boost for us and we felt like having wings on our feet. We played a good match and the many substitutions were also a good trick to keep up the level of our game and stay always very much tuned in the game."
