Trentino's Kaziyski not getting carried away

Trentino's Radostin Stoytchev is one of the most successful Volleyball coaches of the past few years

Trentino BetClic coach Radostin Stoytchev:
"We wanted to score another win and get the points. I decided to change four players of the starting six and that was necessary for some of my guys to get some rest before we head into the semis and the decisive stage of this competition. It was not easy at all, we knew that we were the stronger side but we pay a lot of respect to our opponents and the Americans played a good first set."

Trentino BetClic captain Matey Kaziyski:
"We are happy with this victory and as far as I know in the semis we'll play the team from Iran (Paykan). We are not yet thinking about the final game as we take them one by one and if you feel you are the best, then there is the chance you'll get beaten."

Paul Mitchell coach Gary Sato:
"We felt like we had a very good game plan for this match but our opponents are one of the strongest teams in the world and finally we could not claim a set. Honestly I am pretty happy with the performance of my players as they get the necessary experience by playing this kind of games for them to mature and improve."

Paul Mitchell captain Tyler Hildebrand:
"I would like to thank Qatar for organising a great event and wish good luck to the guys of Trentino for the next stages of the competition. I am pretty happy with our performance here at this Championship, especially taking into account that we have been playing some of the strongest teams in the world."
