Dynamo Moscow coach Yury Cherednik:
"I have to congratulate the Argentinian coach because he prepared his team very well for this game and his guys played a fantastic match. I have to say that we did not lose the game; actually they won it to their credit because we did not play too badly. I started with (Pavel) Kruglov instead of (Roman) Yakovlev because the latter is not in a very good shape and Kruglov played pretty well recently, but I am sorry for him that he missed three attacks in a key moment of the second set. If he had scored those points, the final outcome of the game would have been, probably, different."
Dynamo Moscow captain Sergey Grankin:
"There is not much I can say about this game, simply they played an excellent match and they deserved to win. I wish them much luck for the remaining of the tournament and the semi against Belchatow."
Drean Bolivar coach Javier Weber:
"We knew, going into this game, that we had a chance to go for victory only as long as we had played at our best, hoping for Dinamo not to perform at 100 per cent. We played two splendid sets and my players got the feeling and confidence that they could make it. Normally the block is not our best skill but nevertheless today we were able to score 12 point – more than our opponents. I can only be happy with the result and the performance of my players. As for the semifinal against Belchatow, I pay great respect to the Polish team and I know that we can have a chance there only as long as we play at our best. We will have to focus on our own way of playing Volleyball which is much different from theirs."
Drean Bolivar captain Gabriel Arroyo:
"I am really happy with this result and also with the quality and intensity we showed during the game. This is actually what we have been able to do since the start of the tournament and I hope we can bring this quality also into the semifinal against Belchatow."
