The Golden Formula decreased the power of our centers: Cimed coach

Cimed captain speaking during the press conference

Cimed Florianopolis (BRA) head Coach, Marcos Pacheco
The middle blockers are very important in this formula, but all our players played really well to win against Al Arabi it was a tough match as the players were really tired after the South American Championship. We worked really hard to achieve our target, although there are some difficulties that we need to work on strongly and come up as champions.

Captain, Bruno Mossa Rezende
It was a crucial game for us today; if we had lost we could have gone home after the loss yesterday against Paykan. In the first set, we didn’t play very well, few unforced errors cost us the set. It is another game tomorrow and we want to play our best. Qatar team was good and it was fun for the spectators who enjoyed the match.

Al Arabi Doha (QAT) head Coach, Mohammed Al Bahri
As I said yesterday, we have a very younger side in terms of international match experience and we are playing here against world’s best clubs it takes time to adjust to their style and game. After yesterday’s match during the technical meeting, I thanked my players for their efforts against a solid team. It was a different game today, our players did pretty well in the first set, but as they lack experience they failed to cope up against the tough side. We could have won today, the opportunity was there but our players don’t trust themselves, we need to work on that psychological dead-lock.
I told them not to think about the results, just do as I say and the results will be in our favour, but things turned out in our disadvantage.

Captain, Said Al Jumani
