Poland Team |
The Poland Women’s U20 team, made up of a majority of
players who study and
train at the School of Sport Championship in Sosnowiec and
others who play for
their own clubs, will be one of the favourites on paper for
the World
Championship in Thailand. Their recent Volleyball CV is
encouraging with a
third place finish at the 2001 World Championship in Croatia
and a Junior
European Championship title in 2002.
Star players like Agata Sawicka and Anna Barańska are
expected to shine having
collected the Best Libero Award at the European Championship
and the Best
Defensive Player at the World Championship respectively.
