Profile
The Tunisian national Junior
Men’s U21 team first competed in 1981 in
Maghreb and since then they have developed
into one of the strongest in African and
Arabia countries.
Since 1985 they have participated in six
World Championships recording their best
finish (5th) in Argentina in 1983.
On home soil their form is very impressive
having won the African Junior Championship
six times – 1984, 1990, 1993, 1996, 1998,
2000 – while also collecting the Arabian
Championship title in 1989.
