Korea Team
Profile
All the players of the Korean
Junior Men’s team have been chosen from
the leading university and high school
teams while some have even had the honor
of representing the national team, let
alone the national youth team already.
Korea is traditionally strong in the
junior ranks within Asia and the world.
The team has won the World Championship in
1987 and has collected the Asian Junior
Championship five times since the 1980’s.
However, more recent results in Asia and
on the international stage have shown a
downward trend in results.
