China Team
Profile
The Chinese Junior Men’s Volleyball team
is traditionally strong as shown in the
fact they have collected three Asian Men’s
Junior Championship titles. However since
the last Junior Men’s World Championship
in 2001, where China finished 13th, the
team has undergone many changes including
the introduction of a new coach in Yang
Liqun.
Since then China finished third at the
2002 Asian Junior Men’s Championships and
considering their steady progress in
returning Chinese junior Volleyball back
to its glory days their target at the 2003
Junior Men’s World Championship is to
finish in the top eight.
