Canada Team Profile

The Canadian junior men’s team heads to Iran in good form following a comprehensive training schedule in 2002. In a tour of USA, Canada, who finished fifth at the 1999 World Championships, won three of the four matches before beating USA again, Puerto Rico and Mexico on their way to the NORCECA Championship.

In 2003 the team went back into a training programme in Edmonton in mid-July to fully prepare for the World Championships in Iran and they will definitely be one team to keep an eye once the tournament starts on August 23.
